Come see us at Spelthorne's first Dementia Awareness Street Market.
Next month on Thursday 22nd May, between 10am-3pm we'll have a stall in Staines High Street where you can find out about how our service can support people living with dementia and how the much needed respite breaks benefit their families and carers.

The event is being run by Dementia Friendly Spelthorne (a super team which includes our very own Anja) and will include keynote speakers, information stalls, awareness workshops and a chance for networking and dementia friendly activities in the Talking Tree.
The event is open to everyone, especially those who have been diagnosed with dementia and the people who care for them, who will benefit from attending.

We're looking forward to seeing you there!

A big thank you to Mayor of Spelthorne Cllr Med Buck for visiting our Carers Information Fair in Ashford today. We truly appreciate your time and interest in the roles and challenges unpaid carers face in Surrey and the organisation that supports them.

We also had two busy Carers Fairs in Camberley and Epsom today, with photos to be shared later in the week.

Thank you to all the carers, volunteers, and professionals who came along today and made all of these fairs such a success.

Are you a size 3 or 4 (adult size) and in need of some Summer footwear? All donations will go towards buying more shoes

**UPDATE** Thank you for all of the interest, the flip flops are now gone. We do have some other Russell & Bromley shoes available, if interested please email [email protected] and we can send over more Details

Are you a size 3 or 4 (adult size) and in need of some Summer footwear?

We have been lucky enough to have received a donation of shoes from Russell and Bromley for local families. Unfortunately some of the shoes are too big for the children so we are offering shoes to the wider community in exchange for a donation so that we can buy new shoes in children’s sizes.

These gorgeous flip flops retail at £25 but we have a suggested donation of just £2.50 (although very happy to accept more £££).

We have plenty of other styles and sizes on offer so if flip flops aren’t your thing drop us an email at [email protected] and we can share our full shoe catalogue with you.

If for any reason you can’t afford £2.50 but are in need of new shoes please do contact us, we’d be happy to help.
