At the Bottom of Your Stocking
A taste of the sultry tangerine
Washes over you, sending you swimming,
Diving into the cool crisp ocean scene,
An elixir of life.
Its sun sphered surfaces spinning in your palm,
Moist, rugged, tempting.
Sweet juicy bursts, the embodiment of calm,
Textures surfing on your tongue.
It sends you in a cool blue haze
Amidst the holly hues
Of a sack of goodies, forever you could gaze,
Feeling for the next tantalising treat
Oh? Whatâs this? A sweet candy cane.
A crutch of sugary bliss.
Refreshing your soul, an early morning rain,
Your minty adventure.
Traces of cinnamon tickle the air,
Telling a soothing tale.
A tale of wonders and magic, and care;
A tale of Christmas.
The world listens as the bells sing their song,
Their songs that will outlive us all.
They tell stories of family, love, what mattered all along;
Christmas.
