🎖️ A NEW CHAPTER | COUNTY REGIMENTAL SERGEANT MAJOR

Today marks the beginning of a new chapter for Staffordshire & West Midlands (North Sector) ACF, as we welcome our new County Regimental Sergeant Major, WO1 Terry Gresswell.

As one chapter begins, we also take the opportunity to say a huge thank you to WO1 Shannon Phillips for her fantastic tenure as our County RSM.

Throughout her time in the role, Shannon has given an incredible amount of time, commitment and dedication to the County, supporting our cadets and adult volunteers and helping to maintain the standards and values we are so proud of.

👏 Shannon, thank you for everything you have given to the role and to the County. We wish you every success for the future.

And now, we are delighted to welcome WO1 Terry Gresswell as he takes up the appointment of County Regimental Sergeant Major.

We look forward to working alongside Terry as he begins his new role and leads the County into its next chapter.

👏 ONE TEAM, ONE CADET FAMILY | ANNUAL CAMP 2026

It’s always fantastic to see our cadets and adult volunteers recognised and rewarded for their hard work, commitment and achievements — but Annual Camp is also about the wider team that helps make it all possible.

This year, we were incredibly grateful to work alongside members of our CCF family and the wider ACF family, who gave their time, experience and support to help make Annual Camp 2026 such a success. 🤝

Whether supporting training, sharing knowledge or simply getting stuck in wherever needed, your contribution to our County and, most importantly, to our cadets was greatly appreciated.

🎖️ It was therefore a real pleasure to recognise some of those individuals for their efforts and contribution during camp.

To everyone who joined us from outside the County — thank you for being part of our Annual Camp 2026 family.

We are truly grateful for your help and support, and we hope you enjoyed your time with us as much as we enjoyed having you.

🥾 100 MILES. THE STAFFORDSHIRE WAY. ONE INCREDIBLE CAUSE.

In 2027, some of our fantastic Adult Volunteers will take on the Staffordshire Way, walking an incredible 100 miles in support of ACCT UK and raising vital funds to support cadets and adult volunteers and the opportunities available to them.

It’s a challenge that will test their determination, resilience and teamwork — with every mile walked for a cause at the heart of what we do. 💪

We would love you to get behind the team and support their challenge. Whatever you can spare, every donation will make a difference and help motivate them towards that 100-mile finish line.
