The members of the Staffordshire Safeguarding Children Partnership (SSCP) are Staffordshire County Council, Staffordshire Police and Staffordshire and Stoke-On-Trent Integrated Care Board.

This partnership is responsible for effective multi-agency working, and identifying and addressing system issues.

In December 2023, the statutory guidance ‘Working together to safeguard children’ was revised. As a result, SSCP has updated its local Multi-Agency Safeguarding Arrangements (MASA)

The updated arrangements follow a child-centred and family-focused approach, which highlights the voice of the child.

You can visit the partnership website to read more about our updated arrangements.

The SSCP is the key statutory mechanism for agreeing how local organisations will co-operate, to safeguard and promote the welfare of children and young people.
