Intelligence and Performance Officer - Vacancy
Our Staffordshire Safeguarding Children Board (SSCB) is a multi-agency safeguarding arrangement in which safeguarding practice can develop and prosper across the partnership, with a culture of collaboration, integrity, and compassion; promoting the development and wellbeing of children, young people and their families; and protecting them from neglect and abuse.
Working together with partners delivering a range of early help, family support and effective safeguarding interventions which build resilience, remove barriers and enable children and young people to look forward to a brighter future.
Main Responsibilities
You'll work with partners and the SSCB business team to execute the SSCB Business Plan and Quality Assurance Framework.
You'll be responsible for:
• data management, communication, and analysis to promptly identify risks and potential threats in safeguarding.
• Collaboration with quality and performance leaders from partner groups is crucial to ensure a cohesive strategy for safeguarding children.
• You will also aid in enhancing the SSCB Quality Assurance Programme, suggest enhancements informed by data insights, and use audit results to inform training and better children's outcomes.
The Ideal Candidate
You'll have:
• substantial expertise in business Intelligence, data management, and analytics, and be able to use business analytical tools within a public sector or Children and Families’ environment.
• be familiar with outcome-based tools and techniques for measuring system effectiveness
• be able to demonstrate experience in measuring outcomes for children, young people, and families from a performance and intelligence perspective.
• an ability to design and produce accurate, user-friendly, GDPR-compliant reports
• knowledge of predictive analysis and demand management, especially in a multi-agency children’s partnership context, is advantageous.
Being an active listener is crucial and understanding the perspectives of colleagues and partners to help build trust and collaboration. Therefore, you'll also have the ability to positively influence others for achieving common goals and in doing so develop strong working relationships that involves empathy, respect, and open communication.
This is a 12-month fixed term, part time post working 25 hours per week with an annual salary of £36,648- £41,418 ( pro rata).
The post is located in Stafford, with the ability to travel across the county. A flexible approach to working the 25 hours per week will be considered.
