It's with sadness I write this message to say that Cosy Beans Cafe & the soft play will be closing as of now.
It's been a privilege to serve you all but unfortunately although the business was growing it's come to my attention that I do not share the same values / vision as the landlord of the community building and so its become untenable to stay.
Cosy Beans has never been just about growing a business and making money for me, but seeing the facilities well used, creating community & friendships between people of all backgrounds whether military or civilians and providing a safe / fun inclusive place for all that serves good food and drinks at reasonable prices.
I've really enjoyed chatting to all that have come, building friendships with the regulars and seeing customers chatting to other strangers and forming friendships too. Without being too soppy we should never lose that desire to welcome and be friendly to others including those that maybe different to ourselves.
Thanks also for your generosity with the wall of love, any unused meals I will donate the value of the meals / drinks to the local food bank.
Thank you all for supporting a small business by buying food and drinks, it's genuinely been a pleasure to serve you.
