Would you like to better understand dementia and feel more confident supporting someone who is living with it? Join us for a free online Dementia Awareness session, delivered by the Alzheimer’s Society🎗

We have two dates available that you can attend:
📅 Tuesday 3rd November 2026
⏰ 10.00am – 11.00am
💻 Online via Microsoft Teams
OR
📅 Tuesday 24th November 2026
⏰ 6pm – 7pm
💻 Online via Microsoft Teams

The session will help you understand how dementia can affect a person’s memory, thinking, behaviour, communication and everyday life.

Having a better understanding of dementia can make it easier to recognise why certain changes may be happening, respond to difficult situations and find different ways to communicate and offer support.

Whether someone you support has recently received a diagnosis or has been living with dementia for some time, this session is an opportunity to increase your knowledge, ask questions and build your confidence.

Places are free, but booking is required. You can book your place using this link: https://forms.cloud.microsoft/pages/responsepage.aspx?id=vLDmQfs6PEiedxJCdjv3auwvyN51hDJJgPZ0NsdJIolUNVY1Tzc4TTNFQlFERERZOFVWR01WRVlJMS4u&route=shorturl

Starting a conversation about mental health doesn't always begin with, "can we talk?". 🗨️

It can start with lunch together, a walk in the park, or trying something new. What matters is creating space for conversation, and really listening.

One conversation isn't always enough. Make plans to keep in touch, check in again, and show someone you're there for them.
