During this time, some maintenance activities are limited to protect nesting birds. That’s why VIVO and Amey complete hedge cutting and tree pruning programmes before the season begins.

If you spot a tree safety concern during nesting season, please still report it. 📸 Photos are especially helpful for assessing urgency.

Good to see the Salisbury Plain Training Area team out across the patch this month.

A solid team effort, with people working across areas, supporting each other and getting on with the job 💪

Focus has been on the basics - being visible, picking up issues, and improving the look and feel of estates. Litter picking has made a simple but noticeable difference 🌿

A good example of this in practice was supporting a family with an electrical issue - resolved on the spot, with time taken to explain things clearly. Exactly the kind of straightforward, proactive approach needed.

• Ask a trusted neighbour or friend to hold your keys and check in
• Turn off your water supply - hot weather can increase the risk of burst pipes
• Unplug electricals to reduce bills and lower fire risks
