🌿 Supporting Bishop Michael on His Holy Week Pilgrimage 🌿

This week, Bishop Michael from the Diocese of Bath & Wells is walking a special Holy Week pilgrimage through the Quantocks and Exmoor, visiting churches and spending time in prayer along the way. He will be coming through Spaxton on Friday.

Our children at Spaxton C of E Primary School wanted to send him some encouragement and a few of their own prayers to support him on his journey.

🌟 Hedgehog Experts in the Making! 🦔

We had a fantastic visit from Alex at the RSPCA, who taught our children how to become true hedgehog experts!

Aemilia and Ciara from Year 6 shared some highlights from the morning:
🦔 “We learnt all about hedgehogs, how to protect them, and why it’s important to wash and squash cans so hedgehogs don’t get stuck in them. Afterwards, we got to make our own hedgehogs out of clay and spaghetti!”

A huge thank‑you to Alex for such an engaging and important workshop. Our pupils are now fully equipped to help keep hedgehogs safe! 💚

🎉 Number Day Success at Spaxton CofE Primary! 🎉
Today our school was filled with brilliant digits, colourful numbers, and lots of excited mathematicians as we celebrated NSPCC Number Day!
Our pupils came to school dressed in digits and took part in a range of fun and challenging maths activities throughout the day.
We’re incredibly proud to share that, together, we have raised £45 for the NSPCC 💚 — supporting their vital work to help keep children safe.
A huge thank you to all our families for your generosity and to our amazing pupils for making the day so memorable!
