The film by Coastal Partnership East commemorates the 70th anniversary of the 1953 floods.

East Suffolk Council is inviting people to have their say on a series of proposed changes to Conservation Areas in Southwold.

Under the proposals, the existing Southwold Conservation Area would be extended to become amalgamated with the northern part of the Southwold Harbour and Walberswick Quay Conservation Area.

The proposals also comprise a further six extensions to the existing Southwold Conservation Area.

A network of Warm Rooms is available across East Suffolk to provide a safe, welcoming space for anyone struggling with heating costs during the colder winter months.

Locations include everything from community halls and churches to leisure centres and pubs, each providing a warm space, hot drinks and an opportunity to connect with others.

We hope you've all had a great Christmas!

Please remember that there are no bin collections today (Monday 26 December - Boxing Day) and collections will restart tomorrow (Tuesday 27 December).

All waste and recycling collections in East Suffolk will be one day later than scheduled this week.

So, if your bin is usually collected on a Tuesday, it will instead be collected on Wednesday during that week.

Please make sure your bin is out by 6am.

Collections will return to normal next week (week commencing Monday 2 January).
