A lovely day was had out by our Metfield Explorers today! First we visited a food and craft event where we bought some cakes from Bakedbyaims and sausage rolls from at Victoria Park in Southport followed by drive into Liverpool to see places our members remember from over the years. 🧁🥧🚙
Our next Metfield Explorers is on Saturday 2nd August and we will be visiting Ormskirk Market.

This morning we had a lovely time at Southport Football Club meeting pupils and staff from Scarisbrick Hall School
We enjoyed chatting about life experiences and how times have changed, we did find common interest such as netball and Girlguiding and how these have changed since the Second World War
It was a pleasure to meet lovely polite children who were very engaging
