From the stage to the sports field, from university workshops to national competitions, it has been another week packed with achievement at Scarisbrick Hall. Here are some of the highlights from the past week. ✨

🎭 Year 3 wowed audiences with their fantastic production of The Wind in the Willows, delivering a performance full of confidence, creativity and charm.

πŸ”¬ Year 6 enjoyed an inspiring day of STEM workshops at Liverpool University, exploring everything from artificial intelligence to archaeology and engineering.

⚽ Well done to Winn and Enrico, who proudly represented their new 5-a-side team in their first competitive football match, showing great determination and teamwork throughout.

πŸ† After an outstanding 6th-place finish at the European Championships, Gracie is now preparing for the World Championships and has been selected for the Lancashire Girls Squad.

πŸƒ A Journey Through the Wild Wood

As our Year 3 pupils took their final bows in Wind in the Willows this week, we couldn't resist taking a trip down memory lane.

These photographs show some of our current Year 13 pupils starring in the very same production when they were in Year 4.

It seems only yesterday they were setting off on adventures with Mole, Ratty and Toad. Now, they are preparing for adventures of a very different kind as they approach the end of their time at Scarisbrick Hall.

A lovely reminder that while the cast changes, the magic of school life continues from one generation to the next.

If you're inspired by their journey and would like to find out more about joining our Sixth Form, we'd be delighted to hear from you. Simply send us a message to start the conversation.

Over the weekend, Evie and Molly visited twice daily to help feed, water and care for the chicks, ensuring they are thriving and ready for plenty of learning opportunities and cuddles this week.

We are looking forward to our annual Awards Day at the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic on Monday 6th July. This special event is always a wonderful opportunity to celebrate our students' achievements and successes as we approach the end of another academic year.

Our theme for this year's celebration is A Journey of Resilience. We are therefore delighted to welcome Charlie Walker as our guest speaker. Charlie is a renowned British explorer, author and keynote speaker who specialises in human-powered expeditions. Over the course of his remarkable adventures, he has travelled more than 60,000 miles by foot, horse, bicycle, ski, kayak and dugout canoe, demonstrating extraordinary perseverance, courage and resilience.

Charlie Walker will also be presenting our Duke of Edinburgh Awards to our very own explorers in Y9 & Y10. The Box Office will be available for families to book tickets next week.
