The proposed development “24/00941/OUTM Land West of David Fisher Way (north of Scotts Hill) Southminster Outline Planning Permission for up to 249 Dwellings” is being determined by the District Planning Committee on Wednesday 25th February 2026 at 7.30pm at Maldon District Council Offices.

Southminster Parish council are very pleased to report that we have a new website at southminsterparishcouncil.gov.uk. The old website will remain on a temporary basis. A big thank you to the hard work of one of our councillors who arranged for this to happen

The Agenda for Monday 16th has been posted. We look forward to seeing as many of you as possible at Monday 16th at the monthly Parish Council Meeting at 7pm at the Memorial Hall in the High Street
