On Friday we published a list of places across the city offering free blood pressure checks as part of the Know Your Numbers campaign.

Certain people also may be eligible for a free blood pressure check at their local pharmacy or GP surgery and if you have a reliable and validated monitor yourself, you can check your own at home.

Do you "Know Your Numbers"?

This national campaign highlights the importance of checking your blood pressure, as high blood pressure remains a major health concern in the UK.

Over the next week, a variety of locations across the city will be offering free blood pressure checks for residents. Details of which can be found in the image below.

Southend-on-Sea City Council and NHS Essex Integrated Care Board have welcomed the findings of the recent Area SEND inspection.

A report following the review recognised significant progress across a number of services supporting children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), while also identifying areas where further improvement is needed.
