Southend pleasure pier

Southend pleasure pier Southend pier is the worlds longest pleasure pier stretching at 1.34 miles along the Themes estuary.

The pier is located in the town of Southend in the county of Essex.The original wooden pier dates back to 1830 but later renewed in 1887 to an iron pier.

These photos are of the people who joined us on the 26th of may 2013 at Southend pier head. This was a project to promote Southend Pier by catching a classic edwardian style of our seaside town. I would like to thank South Essex College and the lovely people who work at Southend Pier by helping me make this happen.
