The Joint Administration Budget was passed on Thursday,. We are a cross party group, doing the best for Southend and our residents. I congratulate Councillor Beth Hooper (Lib Dem) and Cllr Kay Mitchell (Labour) for standing up for our Adult Carers and helping to find £125,000 in the year to help with support.

Today we said goodbye to the City's CEO, Mr. Andy Lewis, after 24 years of dedicated service to the City of Southend. The Southend administration Councillors were delighted to pass to Andy Lewis an original print of the seafront at Chalkwell by a celebrated local artist.
