๐ A lovely new connection for Golden Days
On Monday I had a really lovely meeting with Sarah from NovaCare Consultants, and I wanted to share a little bit about what they do because I think their services could be incredibly valuable for families.
Sometimes things become complicated when someoneโs care needs change, especially when families are trying to understand what support is available, who is responsible for what, and what their loved one is actually entitled to.

What really stood out to me was the person-centred approach. It's about looking at the individual, their circumstances and what would actually work for them, rather than simply putting someone into a box because that's what the system says.
For me, this is another lovely connection to have alongside Golden Days Companion. ๐
At Golden Days, weโre about the companionship, practical support and helping people stay connected and independent. Sometimes, though, a family needs something beyond companionship... perhaps help understanding care needs, capacity, funding or navigating the wider health and social care system.
That's where having trusted people to signpost families towards can make such a difference.
It was genuinely lovely to meet Sarah, and I'm really pleased our paths have crossed. ๐
