Hampshire Healthy Families Hampshire Healthy Families 0-19 service covers all aspects of Health Visiting and School Nursing, supporting families across Hampshire.

A partnership between Hampshire and Isle of Wight Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust 0-19 Service and Barnardo’s to deliver the Healthy Child Programme across Hampshire. Whether you're a new parent/carer, a parent of older children or a young person, we are here for you. From free workshops, courses and social walking groups to awareness, health advice and mental health support. A partnership between Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust and Barnardo's.

Recognise v**e exploitation and stay safe:
1) Young people may be targeted by criminals through the supply of free or discounted v**es.
2) Never buy v**es from unregulated sellers, social media, or people you do not know.
3)Some people use v**es as a way of building trust, creating dependency, or encouraging young people to take part in illegal activities.
4) Other young people may be pressured into selling v**es to friends or others to fund their own va**ng habit or repay debts.
5) Be cautious if someone offers free v**es or asks you to sell products on their behalf.

Do you use a baby sleeping bag like this? Or perhaps you know someone who does?

The Office for Product Safety and Standards has issued a Safety Alert today warning parents to avoid baby sleeping bags with hoods or without arm holes, as babies can suffocate, overheat or die in them.

Nearly 50 have been recalled since 2023. And far too many are still available to buy online.

Sleep bags should be well-fitted (think neck and arm holes that fit well), so that your baby can’t wriggle down inside. And sleep bags with hoods or head coverings should be avoided.

Worryingly, these aren’t the only dangerous baby products you can buy online.

The Advertising Standards Authority has spotted lots of high-risk ads promising quick fixes to sleep-deprived or first-time parents.

It is warning parents to be on high alert for online ads promoting baby products that claim to help with colic, reflux, sleep and soothing.
