Officers are currently on the scene of a two vehicle colllison on the B4452 in Ufton. There’s a number of road closures in place including towards Ufton field and at the A452 crossroads. Please avoid the area and follow any diversions put in place.

This is the part where you tell us to catch some real criminals and stop targeting motorists to raise extra funds…

But did you know that speeding is currently a community-voted priority in all six Stratford District neighbourhood teams? It’s also one of the biggest factors in all road traffic collisions.

We conducted speed checks for 10mins at the end of a routine patrol and 3 of the 5 cars we checked were travelling over the speed limit. All of the drivers were pulled over and spoken to.

A couple of months ago we caught someone doing 57mph through a 30 zone – speed checks are just one of the ways we can target this kind of behaviour and get people to drive more carefully and lawfully in our neighbourhoods.
