Thank you, Southam! A huge thank you to everyone who attended, supported and helped organise this year's Southam Fire Station Open Day.
The event was a fantastic success, bringing together the local community.Thanks to the generosity of visitors, volunteers, and local businesses, £1,619.91 was raised for The Fire Fighters Charity.
We're also proud to recognise Ollie, who has supported our fundraising activities for several years by helping to run the popular Hook a Duck stall. Ollie gives up his time year after year to help raise money for a great cause and has become a valued part of our community events. Thank you, Ollie, for everything you do.
Our thanks also go to the local businesses and organisations who kindly donated raffle prizes and supported the event. Your generosity helped make the day such a success.

5:00pm Thursday 13 August. Warwickshire Fire and Rescue Service have declared a major incident due to a large fire in Salford Priors. There is a large emergency presence in the area and we continue to advise residents nearby to close all doors and windows. Please stay away from the area. Our control room is receiving a large number of calls, so please contact us only in a genuine emergency.
It's imperative that residents take all steps to reduce any fire risk. Please read advice on our social media channels about fire and water safety. You can make all the difference.

Warwickshire is once again experiencing another heatwave with heat health warnings in place. During hot weather, water-related incidents increase and it's especially important to remind children and young people of the dangers of entering water, there are often hidden risks such as cold-water shock or currents.
Would your child know what to do if they found themselves in a dangerous situation? 🆘 Show them this video and teach them the ‘Float to Live' technique. It could save their life one day!

Here's all you need to know:
-Parking - Nearest free car park and public toilets are on Wood Street, Southam (only a 3 minute walk away)
-10am-10:30am Sen Friendly
-2:45pm Raffle Draw
-3.00pm Finish
-Don't forget your loose change for the bouncy castle, raffle and various competitions/activities
-The weather forecast is looking great 😎, don't forget that sun cream!
