Save time apply online for your child’s September 2027 school place!
Applications open on Friday 11 September 2026.

If your child falls into one of the following groups, you can apply for their September 2027 school place:
- My child is in Year 6 class in primary or junior school
- My child is in Year 2 class at an infant school (not primary school)
- My child’s birthday falls between 1 September 2022 and 31 August 2023

The deadline to apply is:
- Monday 2 November 2026 at 4.30pm for secondary schools
- Friday 15 January 2027 at 4.30pm for primary, infant and junior schools

From Friday 11 September 2026 you can apply for your child’s school place online at www.southtyneside.gov.uk/schooladmissions

Year 6’s workshop with the M&M theatre actors yesterday morning!

Yesterday the children in KS1 & 2 were treated to a theatre production of Treasure Island. Then the Year 6's had a workshop with the actors. The children thoroughly enjoyed it! Thank you to M&M Theatrical Productions for a lovely morning!

Autumn term Hooks into Books. More lovely new books by recommended authors to share with our children.

Year 5 will commence swimming lessons tomorrow - Wednesday 9th September.
They will need:
A costume/ trunks (not long/surf shorts or bikinis)
A towel
A swimming hat (available to buy on Arbor for £4)

Please be aware that children should not be wearing jewellery or earrings. No false nails or lashes.

Both PE and Swimming are part of the national curriculum and all children will take part unless they have a medical note from their doctor.
