Today, Frontline Living History have been delivering an outstanding "WW1 Battlefield Medicine" workshop for our Year 10 History students.
Students have been fully immersed in the action; a fantastic way to remember key facts and details.

Thank you to all of the families who joined us for our Open Evening last night. We hope to welcome many of you into our Academy community from September!
We are especially proud of our student helpers during the evening, who conducted themselves maturely and responsibly.

If you could not attend our Open Evening, we are keen to offer parents and families the chance to view our facilities, meet our teachers and see students engaged in their lessons. Our Principal is conducting tours on the 10th and 17th October, both at 9am.

We are very proud of the new dining experience we offer our students. Our catering team have worked hard with Chartwells to implement the new changes to the catering system and menu, enabling us to provide a wide variety of high quality, nutritious food which keeps students going throughout the day.

Students are now using the bio-metrics system and have adopted the new split breaks, speeding up the purchasing and collection of food. Breaks are running smoothly and the experience is more relaxed for all.

Until we introduce ParentPay to enable parents to pay money into a student's account, we would like to ask if students either:
Bring coins into the academy to pay into the on-site biometrics system, to purchase food, OR
Bring a packed lunch.

Once ParentPay is accessible, parents will be informed about the changes and how to use the system.
