This evening, we bid a fond farewell to Sgt Colvill as he turns 18 this week.

Over his 3 years with RAFAC, he has completed qualifications across leadership, cyber, first aid and classifications, and mostly importantly, aiding the delivery of the PTS and training up junior cadets.

Good luck Sgt with your next chapter!

Outstanding turnout, sharp drill, and a brilliant display of professionalism throughout. Huge credit to our cadets for their conduct and effort, our staff for the time and commitment behind the scenes, and the band for setting the tone with a fantastic performance. A parade to be proud of. 👏✈️

Well done Sir

Last night, OC Essex Wing Air Cadets, and I, visited 2187 (Canvey Island) Squadron, Air Cadets for a catch up with the Staff Team, and to see what support Wing can offer them and the Squadron as it grows.

Whilst there, OC Wing was proud to present Fg Off. Nicholls with his Cadet Forces Medal, acknowledging 12-years of uniformed service with the Royal Air Force Air Cadets - congratulations, Sir!

What a week it has been for our cadets !!

7 of our cadets followed the new blue space syllabus were awarded with their Blue Space badges. Well done !!

And yesterday 4 very lucky cadets had a trip down to 615VGS Volunteer Gliding School and each had 2 flights in a Viking T1 glider earning their Blue Aviation badges. Smiles all round when they landed, the cadets really enjoyed their day.
