💷 Community Grants & Donations Now Open

Are you part of a local voluntary or community group in Ruskington? Ruskington Parish Council is inviting applications for its Community Grants & Donations Scheme.

A total of £1,000 is available during the 2026/27 financial year to support projects that benefit our community and help make Ruskington an even better place to live, work and visit. Preference will be given to local groups.

📅 Applications considered by Council: 10 November 2026

⚽ 4G Pitch Project Update ⚽

We're pleased to share an update on the new 4G pitch at the MUGA.

Following the handover meeting, some additional work was identified around the edge of the playing surface. To address this, Fosse Contracts Ltd will be installing a perimeter kick board at their own expense on Thursday 3 September.

The pitch will remain closed while this final work is completed. It is hoped that the facility will be ready to open on Friday 4 September, subject to inspection and sign-off by the Council.

We appreciate everyone's patience while we make sure the new facility meets the required standards before opening for community use.

We'll share a further update as soon as we have confirmation of the reopening date.

🎉 Thank You, Ruskington! 🎉

What a fantastic Celebration of Youth Day we had on Saturday 15 August!

On behalf of the Events Team and Ruskington Parish Council, we'd like to say a huge thank you to everyone who came along and helped make the day such a success.

Whether you tackled the climbing wall, took on the inflatables, tried your hand at basketball, got your face painted, enjoyed the gaming van, or simply came along to support the event, we hope you had a brilliant time.

A special mention goes to everyone who contributed to the amazing 6-metre graffiti mural. The finished artwork looked fantastic, and we're now exploring how it could be preserved and incorporated into the Pavilion Refurbishment Project.

We're already looking ahead to future events and would love to welcome more volunteers to the Events Team. If you enjoy helping bring the community together, we'd love to hear from you.
