The Town Mayor, Councillor Winston Feather and the Chief Officer, were delighted to join with Skipton BID today to extend a warm welcome to Cancer support Cancer Support Yorkshire thank you for opening this fabulous space in the town for those facing and going through dealing with cancer

We are delighted to have had additional play equipment installed at Pasture Close Recreation Ground. Visitors can now enjoy roll over bars, a double seated springer, a play shop front and a wheelchair and pram inclusive picnic bench, in addition to the other fantastic existing equipment and Multi-Use games area. Once your completed application has been received, your name will be added to the waiting list. We will contact you when your name reaches the top of the list and an allotment garden becomes available for viewing.

Tea and Talk is a friendly and informal community group run my Mind Charity, that aims to reduce social isolation and support wellbeing by providing a safe, welcoming space for people to connect over a cup of tea and conversation.

The next session in Skipton will be held on Friday 26th of June 1pm-3pm at Fisher Medical Practice BD23 1EU. Everyone is welcome.
