Hey lovely campers! 🌟 We’ve been busy upgrading here at Wrekin Campsite, and we’re so excited to share these new improvements! Check out our newly tidied fire pit area with comfy seating and a wood-cutting space. We also have a brand-new defibrillator on site—hopefully never needed, but a huge reassurance for everyone. And we’ve added fresh chippings in the parking area to make parking a breeze. A massive thank you to those who went above and beyond to move 20 tons of chippings, and to the committee who work tirelessly to keep the site open. We’ve had some issues with our email address, but my phone number is readily available, so please reach out that way while we sort the technical issues. Hope to see you soon on the campsite—have a lovely camping season!

We can’t thank you enough to everyone who massively helped move the 20 tons of gravel we had delivered! 🙌

Well campers what a wonderfully day.
Lovely wak around our site with my other half.
A first for me today two muntjac!
I've had the pleasure of seeing many fallow deer a roe deer one red deer ( no it was ive got a video of it....) and today muntjac.
What a blessing and a privilege to be able to call Shropshire my home.

Wel folks hopefully that's the last of the snow!?
Well everything all ship shape as our wonderful maintenance elite squad are back on site now every week and we're all ready for this season.
Next weekend sees our first real camp of the season and from then on we've a steady stream of campers.
Dates now being booked in September as well as October...... thank you from the team for your continued interest and support in our wonderful historic campsite.

Cool productive day on the Scout Camp.
Some annual stream clearing and safety checks.
Daffs out as is Lords and Ladies , dog Mercury and other lovelies showing signs.
Fifth and six picture is of muntjac slots next to camp.
What wildlife have you seen on site?
Many fallow deer, roe deer I've seen red deer close to site and heard muntjac barking at night near to the camp..... would love to see one. Some hares about at the mo also.

Very spring like conditions on the Wrekin today.... had a nice wonder and a chat to our wonderful maintenance team.
Some of you may now we have have recently invested in a disabled toilet and changing facilities. We have for a long time wanted to address the difficulties that some campers may have using our old toilet facilities and thankfully we've managed to address the issue with the new toilet block.
These facilities are now commissioned and can be used when needed... ( please do let me know if they are needed when booking as they are not automatically opened) and hope this makes our wonderful site more inclusive for a wider range of service users.

Hi de Hi campers.....
We have had a slight price increase at the camp which just reflects our increased costs.... its the first price increase in well over 10 years so we think quite fair.
