Bunny has been doing some research on his librarian colleagues this week and was not at all surprised to find out that they are superheroes by night 😉 .

The Awesomely Adventurous Librarians by Donna David is a book that is packed with wild, imaginative adventures! Have you ever wondered what librarians do when the library is closed? Everyone knows that they are superheroes. This story will let you find out more.

❗Service interruption - Saturday 30 May - Tuesday 2 June❗

The supplier of our library system has had to carry out some urgent maintenance work so things might be a bit wonky for the next few days, both in branch and online.

You'll still be able to borrow and return items at the library, but other services may not be working quite as they should, or might take a bit longer than usual - we're not sure to what extent we'll be affected yet. If you're planning to visit the library for something specific, we'd recommend getting in touch to check what's working, before making a special trip.

Go behind the scenes of Darwin's old school and one of the town's most historic buildings. Grade I and II listed, the building has served as the public library since 1885.
The tour taking place this morning, 10am-11am, still has spaces available. If you would like to attend then please just turn up and you can will be able to buy a ticket from the front desk.
Refreshments are also provided. Tickets cost £10.

Don't forget that we are running an extra Rhyme Time tomorrow morning at 10:30am.
It's free to attend and no need to book. Just come along and join in with all of your favourite nursery rhymes. Older siblings on their half term holidays are, of course, welcome to attend as well.
