Friends of Marlipins Museum

Friends of Marlipins Museum Community museum of local archaeology, history and maritime interest. The oldest recorded standing secular building in Sussex.

It is not completely clear where the name originally comes from. It now is home to a completely wheelchair accessible museum in four galleries over two floors.

Another stallholder is Carrie Creations.

I create beautiful artworks, home gifts and jewellery with a technique called acrylic pouring. I use acrylic paint mixed with pouring mediums and combine colours and patterns that pruduce the wide variety of effects. Top coats of resin or varnish bring a further dimension to the work. This has been my creative passion for some years now and it brings me joy to share this with others at local craft fairs and galleries.

Meet one of our stallholders.

My name is Linda Brown and I’m a lifelong crafter. I learnt to knit and crochet at a very early age and haven’t stopped! I also really enjoy weaving and stitching. The items I will have on my stall reflect my love of crafting from snuggly warm woven scarves to hand knitted and crocheted Christmas tree decorations. There will also be Christmas present ideas and stocking fillers.
