What an exciting Viking day our Year 4s have had. They have been to battle, played games, thrown axes amongst other excitement.

Yesterday, our Year 3 children enjoyed a fantastic Stone Age Day with Prehistoric Experiences, who transformed the school field into an authentic Stone Age camp, complete with their very own prehistoric cave!

The children discovered what life was really like for our ancestors, learning how Stone Age people survived using the natural resources around them. They learned how to make a fire using two rocks, watched a fish being cooked over an open fire and even watched their teacher eat it!

Year 1 had a fantastic start to their day at Hyde Hall! The children thoroughly enjoyed the coach journey, singing all the way and filling the bus with smiles. They are now busy exploring and investigating the beautiful grounds and taking part in interactive activities. We can't wait to share more of their adventures with you later!

The Year 5 Thriftwood residential is underway!

The sun is shining, it’s not too hot and the children are having lunch before starting their activities. Have a great time Year 5 and thank you to all of the staff making it all happen. We hope everyone gets some sleep tonight!
