On Friday 3rd July 2026, schools across North Tyneside and beyond will come together for our second Summer Book-nic - a reading picnic and activities in your school to celebrate and promote reading for pleasure.

All of our resources are FREE, so anyone can host a Book-nic in their school and share the joys of reading with your school.

Our Religious Education network meeting is coming up on Thursday 11th June. The meeting is for all phases and open to all schools. It's a termly opportunity for training and networking with other RE subject leaders.

The theme for this session is REvising our RE toolkit. You will hear the most up to date research and guidance for all things to do with RE teaching and be able to discuss practice and approaches in leading RE.
