Winning the Manager’s Player of the Season award is a reflection not only of Oscar's football skills but also his dedication, respect, humility, and positive attitude both on and off the pitch.

🧳 On Friday morning, please bring your bags to C4 as soon as you arrive at school. We will be leaving at breaktime, so make sure you are organised and ready for a prompt departure.

🏡✨ Introducing… A Home Away From Home! ✨🏡

We are so excited to be creating a brand-new Inclusion Base at Shipston High. A calm, welcoming and nurturing space where our SEN students can feel safe, supported and truly at home.

💛 But we need your help! 💛

We are reaching out to our wonderful parents, carers and wider community to help us furnish this special space. If you have any good-quality furniture, home accessories or sensory items that you no longer need, we would love to hear from you.

🛋️ From sofas and cushions to lamps, rugs, bookshelves, sensory lights and more – every donation will help us transform our vision into a reality.

📧 Please contact [email protected] with details and, if possible, photos of any items you wish to donate. Mrs Shuker will then arrange a suitable drop-off or collection time.

Together, we can create a place that feels like a home away from home for our students. 🏠💚

🌿🌊 Year 10 Geography Fieldwork at Carding Mill Valley 🌊🌿

Our Year 10 Geographers headed to Carding Mill Valley this week to take their learning beyond the classroom and into the heart of the landscape! 🗺️🌄

Students carried out a range of river fieldwork investigations, collecting data on river width, depth, velocity, and bedload shape and size to help them understand how rivers change along their course. Using a variety of geographical techniques, they worked brilliantly as teams to gather accurate data and develop their enquiry skills.

A fantastic hands-on learning experience, teamwork, and discovering geography in the real world. Well done to these Year 10 students for their enthusiasm and excellent behaviour throughout the trip! 👏🌿

🌟 Family Fun at Oakley Grange this Weekend! 🌟

We are delighted to share that our pupils and their families are warmly invited to join Oakley Grange Care Home at two wonderful FREE community events taking place this coming weekend.

🎪 Summer Fete – enjoy an afternoon of traditional games, refreshments, competitions, tombola and live entertainment.

🧱 Intergenerational Lego Club – a fantastic opportunity for children and adults to get creative together, build friendships and enjoy some Lego fun!

These events are a lovely chance for our school community to connect with Oakley Grange residents and take part in activities that celebrate creativity, kindness and togetherness.

Our Year 10 students have been busy in Design & Technology developing their practical skills! 🛠️

They have been practicing their scroll saw techniques, carefully cutting and shaping their designs with precision, as well as exploring the vacuum forming process to create moulded products.

It’s fantastic to see their creativity, focus, and confidence grow as they continue to develop their manufacturing skills. Well done, Year 10! 👏👏

🏃‍♀️ This evening, our Year 9 Athletics Team proudly represented the school at the South Warwickshire Schools Athletics Competition held at Stratford High School.

Our students competed across a range of events, including the 100m, 200m, 800m, relay, javelin, shot put, and long jump, demonstrating determination, teamwork and excellent sportsmanship throughout the evening.

Well done to all of our athletes for their fantastic effort and for representing the school so brilliantly. We are incredibly proud of you! 👏🏅
