Sorry but running late today due to the issues over at my Houghton branch. I'll be out as long as the temperature allow but I will warn you that if the temperature inside the van exceeds 38 degrees it will be considered as an unsafe working environment and I may need to take the van off the road.

Murton Station will be different today. I have a meeting to attend this afternoon at 3.30 so I'll be heading to Murton straight after that. I'll pip as I come down the street 👍👍👍

Been out on the van today to the Framwellgate Moor stop to discover the batteries that power the Post Office equipment inside the van have failed to charge.
I have now investigated this and there appears to be damage to the charging cable. Luckily it's something I can repair but it's going to take time to charge the batteries before we can get out on the road so we're not going to get back out today, sorry!!
Wednesday, Thursday and Friday next week I will be over at another branch providing covering for annual leave but there is method to the madness on this one - I'm covering for one of my wonderful employees that is excited to drive the van and come out and see you all and those 3 days will be the start of his training that he needs before he can do this will bring much needed reliability to the staffing levels of the van for the future 👍👍👍

Hello everyone. I'm needed back at the main office this afternoon (7/5) but I will be visiting Shotley Bridge, Hamsterley Colliery and Medomsley as normal today.
Out as normal tomorrow, all being well of course.

You've probably guessed with it being a bank holiday but we're not out and about today.

Tomorrow (5/5) I'll be late getting out, not sure what time as I'll be waiting on the appearance of a heating engineer.
Also I have a medical appointment so my stop at East Rainton will have to be missed off I'm afraid.
Wednesday (6/5) I have another medical appointment so will miss Aycliffe Village and Eldon Lane stops but will be out the rest of the day as usual.

I'm covering over at another branch today so the van is off the road for today and I'm actually taking a day off tomorrow so that the 28th and 29th. Back to the usual routes for the rest of the week hopefully.

Aargh!! Just checked my calendar and I'm at the dentist this afternoon!!

Sorry but I'm going to have to rejig the times again so I can get down to see you all!!

I'm going to leave Quarrington Hill slightly earlier to start this off so will be leaving there about 12 which means I'll get to Elwick about 12.15 til 1ish for a 45 minute stop. I'll then head down to Greatham for about 1.15 for my usual half hour til 1.45 or so but then I'll have to head off for this dentist appointment and do Muton Station after that so not sure what time I'll be there but it'll be about 4-4.30.
Sorry for the rejig but I'm trying to make sure we cover as many of you as we can!! Can you get the word out to non-facebook users if you can. Thank you xx

Unfortunately I'm short-handed at the main office today (13/04) so I'll not be able to get the van out on the road. I have managed to get things in place for Wednesday and the rest of the week if need be but I'm likely not going to be able to get the van out tomorrow either (14/04). My apologies 😞
