Even the wife is out spotting Land Rovers now, she sent me this yesterday while taking our youngest to Rugby. Apparently the owner says it was built in 1969 so I assume it's a series 2 but it definitely looks like a Defender to me, so I wonder is it a series 2 rolling chassis with Defender body parts??🤔

Either way she said she likes it so may be able to win her over yet lol

Trying to see what bits I can do to get Rover back on the road, the 2 things I thought would be so simple a child could do it looks like they're going to be a bit more challenging, 1 tea light bulb is rusted in but still works so may just leave it and replace the other (I wanted to swap them to see if it's the bulb or something else faulty), the drivers side repeater bulb is also rusted in and doesn't work

The horn I thought was going to be a loose wire or fuse like last time but just had a proper look at my dad's doggy wiring and with the amount of loose wires etc I think I best leave it to someone who knows what they are doing that can hopefully teach me at the same time

Got Rover booked in for it's MOT in a couple of weeks with Green Oval Garage, hopefully it won't cost as much as the last place as shouldn't need much of anything doing to it

Got a new ciggy lighter off Temu, purely for novelties sake as I don't smoke so want to try work out a way of making it non functional as a lighter (being cheap from Temu I'm not sure how safe it would be) but still be able to be pressed for the kids when they like to play in the Landy.

Another one I see regularly locally to me looks like the owner has taken the roof rack off it since I last saw it. Couldn't apply parking rules as they were in a child space and I didn't have my kids with me so had to park a few bays down
