Charity Bake Sale on Sat 27 June @ 10:30

Sadly, last year a very special person in the lives of Emily and Neave who attend Hungate primary school in Sherburn, was diagnosed with brain cancer, so they are doing a bake sale to raise funds for the University of Liverpool’s research programme.

The University of Liverpool's new Glioblastoma (Brain Cancer) Fund has been set up to support ground-breaking research into immunotherapy, a promising new treatment for glioblastoma.
Come in and support this fantastic cause and enjoy some homemade goodies!

This looks like a fun book-related art installation at the Sherburn NowThen Festival this Sunday.

Noisy Noise Noise is an interactive sound library for noisy children and their grown-ups. There are over 90 books, each of which will, when pressed with a gentle finger, trigger a noise. It could be a song, a film clip, a meme or just something a bit rude and funny!

Noisy Noise Noise will be on display 12 - 6 in Eversley Park, Sherburn.

Did you enter the Cartoon Drawing Competition?

Thank you to everyone who entered the drawing competition at Sherburn & Villages community library, we hope you all had great fun! The entries were fantastic and clearly showed how much the entrants enjoy drawing.

There were 34 entrants in total and we have now concluded the judging.

We'll be in touch shortly with everyone who entered the competition to let them know the outcome. We will be asking permission to display the winning entries in the library and to invite everyone to come in and collect their prize.

Please do keep visiting the library, where there is always a warm welcome.
