Wilfswood

Wilfswood Community woodland in Evercreech “Wilf’s Wood” is the working name of a wilding project set up in 2020.

The aim is to create a natural community space just outside Evercreech in Somerset. We want to provide a biodiverse environment including wetlands and woodlands for carbon capture that is used regularly by as many people as possible within Evercreech and the local area. We are keen for local people to be involved with this and make it their own. Please send us a message if you want to find out how you can help.

We will be meeting again tomorrow from 10am. We will mulch and sort brambles. Please wear wellies (pretty wet underfoot) and bring secateurs and spades! looking forward to seeing everyone.

We will be at Wilfswood tomorrow from 10am all welcome. Bring a wheelbarrow if you have one. We are hoping to mulch our saplings. As always refreshments provided!

If you fancy getting active after the festivities come and help us tame the brambles at Wilfswood. We will be meeting this Saturday 10th January at 10am. Please bring warm clothes gloves secateurs and spades. See you there!

Hi everyone just a quick reminder that we will be at Wilfswood again tomorrow from 10am. We have a few new saplings to plant so it would be great if you could bring a spade and gloves. As usual refreshements will be available and the weather looks good!
