Pitsmoor Adventure Playground Pitsmoor Adventure Playground offers and supports a variety of play opportunities to children and you PLAY IS FOR EVERYONE.

Play is freedom to be, to 'fail', to have fun, to be scared, to make and break friends, to laugh, to cry, to sing, dance, be ''silly'', building bridges between cultures and families. We welcome children, young people and families from all walks of life to offer and support their play choices.

Members of our staff and trustee team recently attended the first Sheffield Play Conference organised by Sheffield Play Partnership. What a fantastic time we all had!

Attendees enjoyed an incredible range of interactive, informative and playful workshops and discussions. Our Tony and Steve ran loose parts sessions outside, Rosa was sharing campfire cooking skills and Julia led an insightful session on play and the brain. And these were just part of an impressive full day programme - what a talented bunch of play professionals we have here in the city 💪💙

Unfortunately our May Adventure Tots play session is now cancelled tomorrow (Thursday) due to staff sickness.

We have received an enormous amount of donations over the last month from our generous playground community.

Our craft cupboards are stocked with many delights alongside luxurious fancy dress and fascinating 'loose parts etc etc. All excess items were shared with our children who created their own taylor made craft bags to take home on Saturday. 😁😁😁

After 4 delightful puppet making sessions lead by our very own Artist in Residence Patrick Amber we are excited to announce that tomorrow, THURSDAY 14th May our talented young creators would like to invite you to a PUPPET SHOW designed, made and delivered by them.🤩🤩
Feel free to bring your puppets back for the day if you wish them to appear. Everybody welcome.

Be ready to sit down at 5pm with a bowl of popcorn or fruit and let the show begin !!! 🕺💃
