Heeley Trust Welcome to the Heeley Trust page! That group became Heeley Development Trust and that space is now Heeley People’s Park. We are Heeley Trust!

Back in 1996, a community group took over derelict land left by the clearance of homes for a bypass that never happened. Today, it’s just one of the projects we’re proud to call our own. For 21 years now, Heeley Trust has been working to improve public spaces, secure buildings and other assets for the community and deliver all kinds of projects for the people who live here and beyond. You might be

familiar with Recycle Bikes, or Sum Studios, or Sheffield Online. Perhaps you’ve enjoyed the Heeley or Big Boulder festivals. They are all things that make living here good, and they might not have happened without us. And they definitely wouldn’t have happened without our amazing local volunteers!

Ranger Club is back! 🌳

After a fantastic start yesterday, the Heeley Trust team will be running this session every Monday during term time.

Yesterday, our amazing Rangers did a litter pick of the playground and cut back the hazel on Well Road. The park looks so much better thanks to your hard work!

🚮 Thanks to our litter picking volunteers for another productive litter pick in the woods and green spaces around Herdings Community Centre.

If you would like to help, we meet at Herdings Community Centre at 1pm on the last Tuesday of the month. Gloves, bags, litter picks all provided.
