SIMPLIFY STUDYING!! ⭐️🗳️

As a part of my manifesto I want to add more plug sockets to study spaces! When our degrees rely so heavily on online content, how are we supposed to study when there’s nowhere to charge?!

The newly built, multi-million pound Social Sciences building is currently not an inaccessible place to study, there’s barely any sockets!

I also want to add extension cords to all study spaces and advocate for the university to fix the broken plugs around the Uni campus!

Extensions should be as easy as a few clicks!

Currently the form is different across departments, hard to find and even harder to fill out. It should be a system that is accessible for ALL students!

⭐️POLICY SPOTLIGHT 2⭐️

From music practice rooms to free laptop hire, there’s things we pay for that the University keeps quiet! This should not happen! We should be made aware of what’s available to us in an easy and accessible way.

As Education Officer I would love to work alongside fellow officers to create a system for a ‘one stop’ place to find out everything available to you, and to ensure EVERY student has access to what they need to succeed!

Studying is hard enough, let me fight for you to make it simpler!
