We're still on the lookout for Duty Supervisors to support the pool operations through our Summer Season and beyond. You'll support the Pool Manager in day-to-day operations, oversee lifeguards, manage bookings and facilitate a welcoming visitor experience.

We currently have a small number of bumblebees or solitary bees that have taken up temporary residence above the entrance doors to the Lido.

Both species rarely sting or attack people or animals and, as they are important pollinators, should be left alone.

It is very likely they will disappear again within the next month, and we hope they will not cause any inconvenience. If you have any concerns, please speak to a member of staff.

The first heated full moon swim of the year and it is looking like it might be a clear night. Come and swim under the stars and the Blue Moon.

This May Blue Moon is the last to occur after the Spring Equinox, also called the Vernal Equinox. It marks the second full moon of the month and the year’s smallest micromoon. Despite its name, the Blue Moon will not appear blue; the term refers to its rarity rather than colour. Its micromoon status means it will appear slightly smaller than a typical full moon, about 12–14% smaller than a supermoon and roughly 7% smaller than an average full moon.

What incredible weather we are having, and we are loving seeing so many people back in and enjoying the Lido 💛

A gentle reminder to please, please, please remember to apply your sun cream before leaving home. It needs a bit of time to work its magic and soak in! The filtration system is doing a great job, but when it washes off in the pool, it can cloud the water and leave you unprotected.
