Its good to see that as part of Independent Retailer Month, NFU Mutual Sevenoaks & Meopham has been running a social media campaign to celebrate and promote independent businesses across Sevenoaks, encouraging residents to shop locally and support our High Street. 👍👍👍
To date, they have featured:
• Sevenoaks Bookshop – championing local literature and community engagement.
• Bat & Ball Sports – supporting local schools, clubs and athletes through specialist sporting expertise.
• Horncastles – a long-established independent retailer serving the local community.
• Sevenoaks Meze – showcasing independent hospitality and dining in the town.
• Harveys Menswear – highlighting quality independent retail and customer service.
Russell Brewis, Marketing and CRM manager explains: "Through these spotlights, we are helping raise awareness of the important contribution independent businesses make to Sevenoaks' economy, character and community life, while encouraging residents to support local enterprises."
