Our Fire Cadets have had a busy and rewarding weekend supporting two fantastic community events.

On Saturday, they volunteered at the Welsh Firefighter Challenge, where they worked tirelessly throughout the day helping to reset the course between events. Despite the challenging weather conditions, the cadets showed great enthusiasm, dedication, and teamwork, enjoying every minute of the experience.

On Sunday, they were back in action at the Swansea Bay Half Marathon, assisting with the baggage drop service. The cadets helped ensure runners’ belongings were stored safely and efficiently, while also making sure participants were reunited with their bags at the finish line.

A huge well done to all our cadets for giving up their time to support these events and representing the unit so professionally. We are incredibly proud of your commitment to volunteering and serving the local community.
