Happy to be in a position to provide the funding to brighten up Selkirk though Christmas 🎄

Today we were out and about delivering Christmas trees to businesses in the High Street taking part in this year’s Window Decorating Competition and we can’t wait to see the festive creativity begin!

The competition is being run by Selkirk Rotary, Scott’s Selkirk and Brighter Selkirk, and will be part of the Celebrating Selkirk event on Friday 6th December, when the winning window will be announced.

A big thank you to Selkirk BIDS for helping fund the trees and supporting Christmas magic on our High Street!

Let the decorating commence and let’s make Selkirk sparkle! 🎅💡🎄

The information boards have been replaced!!

We worked in conjunction with Caroline Cochrane Independent Councillor for Selkirkshire who secured funding through the SBC small schemes fund to replace both boards, with the work carried out by Wilson Signs from Hawick, let’s enjoy them rather than damage them!

Brilliant news for the town, safer + potentially more parking!

It’s great to see that the initial concept of a one way system drafted by BIDS + assessed by SBC back at our inception in 2018 may now be moving forward.

The more reviews Selkirk gets the better!!

There are 6 separate sections for each Selkirk facility under threat, please make a cuppa + fill these in, it may be that Selkirk’s public services depend on it!

We’ve kicked off out 2025 facelift work by re-visiting Halliwells Close which had began to look tired since it’s 2021 refurbishment.Many thanks to local company Niven + Purves Painters + Decorators for a great job.
