Seething and Mundham is a primary school, situated in Seething, a small village in south Norfolk, located in a modern building (we opened in 2010) on the site of the historic village school. This blend of the traditional and the new reflects the type of school we are – forward looking and innovative while also being deeply rooted in our local community. We are proud to be part of Sapientia Education Trust (SET).

Over the last two weeks in assembly, we’ve been exploring our PSHE topic “Changing Me.” The children have been thinking about how our journeys in life make each of us unique and special. We’ve also discussed how change can sometimes feel a little worrying—but it can also be exciting and help us grow, learn and achieve our dreams. The children have been thoughtful and reflective and we have loved hearing about their aspirations! 💙

In Kestrel Class we have been learning about Islamic main beliefs, places of worship, symbols and their meanings. We visited Siddiqa Nawaz Mosque in Broome to enrich our learning further! We found out more about the Islamic Holy book called the Qur'an, The 5 Pillars of Islam and the importance of the pilgrimage to Hajj for Muslims.
