Sussex Flood Rescue A developing National Flood Rescue team based in Sussex, affiliated to and working with Surf Life Saving GB.

Sussex Flood Rescue or SFRU is a new flood rescue team, made up entirely by volunteers and based in Sussex. After the recent flooding events throughout the United Kingdom, a need for more flood rescue teams has been identified. When a major flood events occur our team may be asked to respond alongside other emergency services to anywhere across the United Kingdom. We are a Non-Profit Organisation

and will be continually fundraising for the training of team members and for the necessary equipment needed for flood rescue.

We are a part of Seaford Lifeguards and affiliated to Surf Lifesaving GB a United Kingdom Search and Rescue member.
