🌞 Communities across North Lincolnshire are coming together once again to give local children a summer to remember, with thousands of free holiday activity places now available through the Fuelled Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) programme.
Children and young people who receive benefits-related free school meals can enjoy everything from horse riding and football to roller discos, archery, paintballing, martial arts, street dance, cooking, arts and crafts, karaoke and much more, with every session including a healthy meal. ⚽🎯🎤🏇🏽🎨
There’s a huge range of holiday clubs on offer for eligible children and young people from ages five to 16, and many activity providers are also offering paid places, meaning friends who aren't eligible for the Fuelled programme can often take part too. 😎
Funded by almost £400,000 from the Department for Education and delivered locally by North Lincolnshire Council in partnership with community organisations, Fuelled enables sports clubs, village organisations, arts groups, charities and community projects to open their doors during the school holidays.
Cllr Rob Waltham, leader, North Lincolnshire Council, said: "We want every child in North Lincolnshire to have the chance to enjoy a fantastic summer, make new friends, learn new skills and create lasting memories.
