The annual best-kept garden competition is upon us.

The competition has always been front or visible gardens only.

This year, the Town Council hopes to embrace more green-fingered residents by allowing people to nominate or submit pictures of enclosed/back gardens. In doing so, the council will visit the gardens at an agreed time to verify the images sent. The entry will then go forward to the judging stage. Please note, we are not asking residents to have an open garden for people to visit.

Following the judging, the councilors will award the winning garden the trophy, certificate, and a £25 garden voucher.

Crowle & Ealand Town Council are looking for local tradespeople to carry out a range of work on a council-owned property. The list of work includes:

Bathroom fitting/repairs
Kitchen fitting/repairs
Wet boarding and paneling
Decorating
Fitting flooring (carpets and vinyl/LVT)

We would like to thank everyone who attended the Remembrance Services this year at Ealand and Crowle.

We are so proud that our local Crowle Fire Station, Humberside Police - North Lincolnshire, 300 (Isle of Axholme) Air Cadet Squadron and serving and retired RAF, Army and Navy personnel took time to attend and show their respects alongside so many local groups, organisations and residents. We haven't tagged everyone in, but please feel free to tag in comments and add pictures from the day if you would like to.
