💚 Macmillan Coffee Morning at Sycamore Lodge – You’re Invited!

We’re delighted to welcome everyone to join us at Sycamore Lodge for our Macmillan Coffee Morning! ☕🧁

Our team and residents have been busy preparing delicious homemade cupcakes, fresh coffee, and plenty of sweet treats — all to support Macmillan’s incredible work. The room is full of smiles, green bunting, and that lovely community spirit we’re so proud of.

Come along, enjoy a cuppa, share a moment with us, and help raise funds for better cancer care. Every slice, sip, and chat makes a difference. 💚

🌼✨ Welcome, Frances! ✨🌼

On Monday we were delighted to welcome Frances into our home. She settled in beautifully and enjoyed a lovely afternoon of activities.

We practised some gentle hand–eye coordination, including a game of Four in a Row, where she worked confidently and independently. Afterwards we enjoyed a peaceful 45‑minute walk around the block, and she remained calm, relaxed and very comfortable throughout.

Tracey spent some time with her while Ashleigh took a short break, and she also noticed how settled and at ease Frances seemed.

A warm welcome, a productive afternoon, and a lovely start to her time with us. 💛🌸

A simple game, but such a brilliant boost for coordination, confidence and mood. Our residents enjoyed a lively session of ball catch and throw today — lots of smiles, gentle movement and plenty of laughter in the room.

🌞🎤 End of Summer Party

Yesterday afternoon we celebrated the end of summer with a lovely gathering for our residents — complete with beautiful singing from Sarah Stones, whose voice filled the room and brought smiles all around. A warm, joyful way to close the season together. 💛✨
