Saint Cecilia’s Care Group will pay a one-off contribution of up to £1,000 towards the household bills of any new care staff who join the company.
We have care staff vacancies at our five homes across Scarborough, Pickering and Whitby.
Whether you are new to care or in another position, we will be happy to pay mortgage, gas, electric, water or any other bills, up to a total of £1,000, to any new carers at Saint Cecilia’s.

We got some tasty treats from local baker Bothams to help as we say hello to the residents, relatives and staff at the latest addition to the Saint Cecilia's family, Oakland nursing home in Whitby.

Saint Cecilia’s Care Group is pleased to announce an addition to the family!
Within the next few weeks, we will be taking over the running of Oakland Nursing Home in Whitby.
This is an exciting move for the group as we believe Oakland is a good home with an excellent future ahead of it and that it will be a good addition to the Saint Cecilia’s portfolio.
It is currently facing some challenges, but after 30-plus years delivering care, these are challenges that we have faced before and we are confident of turning it around.
The takeover of Oakland Nursing Home will help us as we continue to grow to the size that we believe best enables a care group to survive and flourish in these challenging times.
Continued expansion also opens up new opportunities across the group for all our staff.
We look forward to working with the team at Oakland and adding a little Saint Cecilia’s magic to the home to give it a bright new future…

We have had another extremely turbulent and challenging year, full of the many ups and down that the continuing pandemic has forced upon us. As we reflect and look forward, we hope, to better times, we want all of our staff to know how much we appreciate all their hard work and commitment. As we head into 2022, many uncertainties remain, and we cannot know what is next but we must all hope that 2022 is better and return to something like normality
