🏍️💨 The Barry Sheene Festival roars into Scarborough this weekend for two action-packed days of road racing at the iconic Oliver's Mount circuit.

🔥 Saturday features practice and qualifying sessions before the racing gets underway with 9 thrilling races. Visitors can also enjoy the popular Road Bike and Race Bike Parades.

🏁 Sunday raises the excitement even further with 13 races scheduled, including the prestigious Barry Sheene Classic Feature Race, alongside more spectacular parade laps.

👏 Celebrating the life and legacy of one of Britain's greatest motorcycle racing legends, the festival attracts riders and fans from across the country for a weekend of high-speed action and nostalgia.

Rail Forum are running a colouring competition for 2026.
This is a creative and accessible way for parents, guardians and teachers to spark meaningful conversations about staying safe on and around the railway.
This year’s competition is open across two categories:
Colouring competition for children aged 4–6
Colouring competition for children aged 7–10
The closing date for entries is Friday 14th August 2026, with prizes for the winners to be announced in October.
