🚛 New containers are on the way! 👀
From next week, we’ll start delivering purple-lidded bins and food waste caddies to East Herts households — ready for the new waste collection service starting 4 August.
These new containers are in addition to your current bins, but please don’t use them yet.
Included in the delivery you will also receive stickers and instructions for your existing bins, plus a simple guide to help you get started with food waste recycling. But remember — don’t present your new bins for collection before 4 August.
Already got a purple-lidded bin? You’ll be getting a black bin for mixed recycling instead, to start using from 4 August.
If you receive assisted collections, don’t worry — we know who you are and will make sure you get the right containers.
