Just a quick heads up. Cambridge Water will laying a new water main on Highfields Road between 29/7/26 and 12/8/26.

The road will be closed and diversions will be through Hardwick.

I am thrilled to say that I won 662 votes in the election and have been elected to represent the Caldecote ward. I look forward to serving our community as best as I can.

I won with a 348 majority over the Reform party.

My name is John Jefferies and I am standing as Liberal Democrat candidate for the Caldecote ward in the 2026 S Cambs local election. The ward includes Lt Gransden, Longstowe, Kingston,Bourn, Caldecote and Childerley.

I am a farmer and I have lived in Lt Gransden for virtually my entire life. I have managed the family farming business for 40 years.

I am married with 2 children (I also have 2 older grown up children).
